To The Town

"First, who's he, second...why the hell did he think you were pregnant?"

"This completely rude building owner! He is always barging in here and trying to accuse me of something! Not unlike someone else i know!" D glares pointedly at Leon.

"You were under police investigation for connections to murders remember? Top that off but it was also thought that you were selling drugs. You're damn lucky I managed to get all those charges taken off you though, because if I hadn't the moment you came to Tokyo you would have been caught and shipped right back over to America."

"Oh i doubt that. You of all people should know its impossible to catch me."

"This proven by the fact that it took me a couple years just to find you again..." Leon sighs in annoyance but surprisingly doesn't say any more.

At that moment in burst Taizu with Chin at his heels. "Count! What are you up to now? Trying to sell him one of your 'pets'?" Chin was holding up a box of sweets from a local pastry shop which he handed to the count.

"No! This is Leon. Please help yourself to tea. Since you barge in here everyday anyway.."Count said.

Leon only glances at Taziu. "I'm guessing that's the annoying building owner you were talking about?" He as he catches a cat before it falls from the back of the chair and helps it back up.

"Yes it is, and as you can see, he just barges in here and drinks my tea." Count sighed.

"Who are you calling annoying you American street rat!" Taizu said.

"I'm just quoting him," nods at D, "and watch how you speak to an American officer you corporate monkey!"

"Your an American officer. You have no authority here and your not wearing your badge so your off duty you little toe rag!" Taizu yelled.

Leon is about to respond when Femto pokes his head in. "D! Quickly, it's Angel! Her wing got displaced again and she's in a lot of pain!"

Count D all but flew out to the back of the shop calling back " Help yourselves to some tea! Don't come back here!"

Leon watches D run off and glances at Taizu as he stood up. "I don't know about you but I'm following." He follows after D just moving Femto out of the way when he tried to stop Leon.

Taizu follows Leon into the back. "Do you even know where you are going!?" He yells at Leon.

"Not a clue..." Leon admits as a scream of pain echos through the hall. "I'm just following that."

Taizu doesn't say anything but follows him down the hall to the screaming.

The reach the door where the screaming is coming from and Leon opens the door reveling a girl sitting on she has two giant wings one of which D is holding.

"Oh Angel.. You must be more careful. How did you hurt it this time?"

"I-I didn't do anything...honest...it moved a bit and...it dislocated..." she whines in pain a bit.

The count sighs. "Alight, I'll set it again. Please be still."

Taizu comes rounding the corner and he starts to yell at the Count but falls silent upon seeing the Angel.

She whines again "I-I'll try..." she holds herself as still as possible as D fixes her wing only yelping in pain for a second.

"There you go." Count D said. He notices Taizu. "What are you doing here get out! Now shoo!" Count D makes shooing motions and forces Taizu out.

Leon had been standing by the door going over things in his head.

Angel sighs and when Count returns from pushing Taizu out she asks. "Count...can I go out to the front for a bit...It's getting quite lonely in here..." she unfolds and refolds her better wing(the fracture has healed enough)

"I suppose so. I couldn't deny you in good conscience anyway.." he replies. He then heads back out to the front where he shoved Taizu.


"Happy now?" He asks Leon and Taizu.

"you really weren't kidding were you D?" Leon asks as he looks around the shop.

Angel smiles happily and follows D out to the front. She then carefully sits in a chair(the one Taizu always sits in)
