To The Town

Femto runs to Taizu's office, shifts into human form and opens the door. A soft grey mist pours out and looking in Taizu has fallen asleep at his desk and Valor still lays in the chair, the mark on his head now a bright red and his blind eyes glow a soft ghostly white.

"Valor!" Count says as he follows Femto in.

Valor's ears flick over to Count but he does not turn his head. 'Something wrong Count?'

"Yes. You need to leave Taizu alone. If he ends up hurt he shall only pursue me further and insist i did something to him."

"Oh really?"

"What is his dream of Valor?"

Valor's blind eyes look at D. 'his dream is his own, I shall not tell.'

D sighes. "Always one to keep things to yourself."

Valor chuckles a bit. 'It is not as though I am the only one in this room whom keeps secrets to himself, right Count?'

"That's true."

"I will then." Count leaves still wondering what it was Taizu was dreaming of.

Valor turns his eyes back to Taizu and the mark on his head flickers a bit, the mist also seems to be clearing a little.

Femto looks from Count to Valor then runs after Count. He jumps up onto D's shoulder(he's in cat form) "So...now what?"

"I am going to drink some tea and then go to bed! I need my beauty sleep after all."

Femto sighs. "Fine then, but what do you plan on telling Taizu tomorrow after him wakeing up to see Valor in his office?"

"I think perhaps i should let this be a secret. I doubt he will remember much of what really happened."

"Yeah, but you're still gonna have to explain the wolf in his office..."

"I figure something out! Miracles can happen overnight!"

"Suppose so, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens then..." Femto yawns a bit and shakes his head.

"Well I am going to bed. Do what you wish." Count says and heads off to a back door that is somehow never noticed.

The count wakes the next morning at some ungodly hour for most people. He fixes tea and then takes his usual place in the room for business.
